CPU Dumbbells

Polyurethane (PU) is a durable and flexible material widely used across various industries, making it an excellent material for coating dumbbells. There are two primary types of PU coatings used on dumbbells: CPU and TPU. 

TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) is softer than CPU and can be melted and reshaped.

CPU (Cast Polyurethane) is produced by pouring liquid polyurethane into a mould, where it hardens into a robust and long-lasting coating. It's exceptionally tough and well-suited for high-wear environments like commercial gyms. VERVE PU dumbbells are made from CPU because they look much better and also last years longer in a gym with much greater resistance to wear and tear.
