Drinking is not the problem, it’s a process of numbing yourself of feeling and processing trauma. Life presents us with two primary teachers: awareness and pain. If we fail to master the art of awareness, pain will inevitably step in to impart its harsh lessons. My lessons were consequences from drinking. The choice is ours: to learn through conscious reflection or through suffering. Who, then, can we consider the strongest individual? - It is the person who has discovered and implemented methods to transform their thinking from negative to positive. This transformation is not easy; it requires a profound ability to be self-aware. The journey to positive mindset demands constant vigilance of our thoughts and emotions, as well as the courage to confront and change deep-seated patterns. Negative thinking often stems from deeply rooted subconscious thoughts and emotions. These patterns can be insidious, manifesting in seemingly innocuous ways. For instance, we might tell ourselves, “I can’t accomplish this task today because it requires a stronger version of m. I’ll postpone it until tomorrow.” While this may seem like a reasonable decision in the moment, it’s often a manifestation of negative thinking patterns and procrastination. However, it’s crucial to understand that negativity itself isn’t what ultimately holds us back. Rather, it’s our response to negativity that determines our path. The true test lies in how we choose to act when faced with negative thoughts or circumstances. Do we succumb to them, allowing them to dictate our actions? With Lust, gluttony, desires and pleasure? Or do we acknowledge them, learn from them, and strive to move forward despite their presence? The path to personal growth and success isn’t about eliminating negativity entirely—that’s unrealistic in my opinion. Instead, it’s about developing the resilience and skills to navigate through negative thoughts and emotions, using them as catalysts for positive change rather than obstacles to progress. This ultimately means negativity is switched from a hindrance into a tool for personal development and achievement. #Sober #peakperformance #highperformance

These two tips will help you make your box jump overs much more bearable. 1️⃣ When doing the preloading on a step down before a box jump we activate the Stretch-Shortening Cycle. This refers to the natural muscle function that involves a rapid transition from a muscle-lengthening (eccentric) phase to a muscle-shortening (concentric) phase, which optimizes the use of stored elastic energy and improves muscle performance in activities requiring explosive power and speed. 🔝 🚀 The elastic energy accumulated in the muscles and tendons reduces the need to generate force solely through active muscle contractions, decreasing energy expenditure and allowing for more repetitions with less fatigue. 2️⃣ Stepping on the edge of the box will make it easier to step down, spending less time under tension on top of the box and therefore, reducing muscle fatigue while slightly increasing cycling speed.
